This week’s edition of the Truro Voice newspaper features a fine article (on page 11) about me becoming the new manager of the Oxfam bookshop in Truro. Running a bookshop has always been a fantasy of mine (and charity shops a virtual obsession), and although it’s not quite the quiet, relaxing job I imagined it would be (in fact it’s manic), it’s still kind of a dream come true. And for a good cause.

Since moving to Cornwall I’ve had my fair share of appearances in local publications. Last year there were articles and photos of me (and my cat Casper) in both The West Briton and The Camborne, Redruth and Hayle Gazette about the Community Reflections photography course I attended and its subsequent exhibition and private view.

Last December I wrote an article about the vinyl revival for the regional Sunday Independent newspaper. And last month my infrared photography of Cornwall, alongside an article I wrote, featured in Cornwall Today magazine.
