Climate change warning signs (Cornwall edition)
These are literal climate change warning signs to print and distribute to whoever / wherever you think is doing the most damage – cars, car parks, petrol stations, building sites, local councils, government buildings, airports, developers, farms, chopped down trees, monoculture lawns, any Tory MP’s forehead, pretty much any business, vehicle and selfish moron you can find.
What’s happened to nature is it’s become a place to drive to. And when you’ve had your fill, to drive home afterwards. It’s completely separate to us, and shrinking all the time as roads, car parks, housing and industry increase.
Obviously it’s happening in every county in the country so it feels churlish to pick on Cornwall but the Council are a joke. My favourite metaphor for the county is the so-called Eden Project, where car parks outnumber nature – a modern day Garden of Eden, then, but so far away from paradise it feels like hell.
