Barnflakes is the home of Barnaby Attwell, Graphic Designer and Creative Artworker. With over ten years' experience in print and web, I have worked on a wide variety of magazines, websites and events.
Fast, accurate and with a keen eye for detail, most recently I have been freelance artworker for Manchester United, creating a sales presentation for Gant clothing using Photoshop and Keynote. Before that I've been freelancing regularly at Droga5, creating presentation decks for Danone yoghurt, Impulse deodorant and the Baywatch movie Slow-Mo marathon. I also created promotional material and social media assets for the Baywatch Slow-Mo campaign and amended artwork for Kwiff and the Impulse deodorant Snapchat campaign.
Other freelance work this year has been for Lucid Direct, amending and updating 2018 calendars for WH Smith; 4SIDED greetings cards and MACE Montessori nursery schools.
Prior to that I was at Shard Media (previously Athene Publishing) for over four years, juggling the design of two monthly magazines, websites, email banners and headers, as well as the signage, event guides and evening programmes for the company's numerous conferences and award evenings. I also designed the logo for the new company name and redesigned the logos and branding for the awards and conferences.
Previous freelance work has been working for brands including Nationwide, Egg, Prudential, the NHS, LLoyds TSB, DHL and Blockbuster.
I have designed a number of B2B and staff magazines on a variety of subjects including technology, fitness and finance.
Elsewhere on the web, my Barnflakes blog, chronicling random film, music and architecture, among other subjects, has been going for a decade and has over 4,000 hits a month.
My YouTube channel has amassed over 140,000 views.
I work and live in London.
